What's new in vitalina

The latest version of vitalina is 1.16.0, released in September 2026. It adds a table of contents and a black & white option to PDF reports, puts all PDF options in one place, and adds a dose history to medication reports. Below is every release since the first one in February 2026, newest first. As always, your health data stays on your device.

Version 1.16.0#

Table of contents

Pro reports now open with a numbered table of contents and page numbers. Tap an entry, or a bookmark in your PDF viewer's sidebar, to jump right to that section.

About PDF reports →

Black & white reports

Switch on "Black & white" in PDF options for a report in solid black, with no gray and no color. It stays readable when your doctor's office scans or prints it. Charts keep their meaning through hatching, dashes and hollow markers.

PDF options in one place

Choose text size, "Charts only" and more once, in Settings or right in the export preview. vitalina remembers your choice for every report, including exports from Apple Shortcuts.

Medication Dose History

Medication reports now list each dose period with its first and last date, so you can see at a glance when a dose changed.

Also in this release

  • Line charts in PDF reports have a legend: the line is the daily average, the shaded band the range from the lowest to the highest reading of each day.
  • The Apple Shortcuts action "Export Health Data" now hands its file to the next action on every run. Before, every second run of the same shortcut came back empty.
  • Exported files and the date range at the top of a PDF report end on the last day the export covers, not the day after.
  • CSV and JSON exports write percentages as percentages: blood oxygen 97, not 0.97. If your spreadsheet multiplied these values by 100, it no longer needs to.
  • PDF reports in German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Russian write units the way that language does, and chart dates are labeled more clearly.
